Finding the right fit matters for comfort and for avoiding a return. Use the guide below to determine your size for our 925 sterling silver rings, necklaces and bracelets.
Ring Size Guide
Loretana fixed-size rings come in four sizes: 16.5, 17.3, 18.1 and 18.9 mm. The number is the inner diameter of the ring in millimetres, and each one matches a US size exactly. A 17.3 mm ring has an inner diameter of 17.3 mm, which is US 7.

Method 1 — measure a ring you already own
Take a ring that fits the intended finger well. Measure the inner diameter across the widest point with a ruler. Match that measurement in millimetres to the nearest size below.
Method 2 — measure your finger
- Wrap a strip of paper snugly around the base of the finger.
- Mark where the paper completes the circle.
- Measure from the beginning to the mark with a ruler. This is your circumference in millimetres.
- Divide the circumference by 3.14. The result is your inner diameter in millimetres.
Example: a circumference of 53 mm ÷ 3.14 = 16.9 mm. That falls between two sizes, so take the larger — 17.3 mm (US 7).

Every product page shows both numbers, for example 17.3 mm (US 7). EU equivalents are approximate.
Tips for the right fit
- Comfort first: the ring should be snug enough not to slip off, but pass over the knuckle without force.
- Mind the knuckle: if your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base of the finger, measure both and choose a size in between.
- Timing matters: measure at the end of the day, when your hands are warm. Fingers are smaller in the morning and in cold weather.
- Dominant hand: fingers on your dominant hand are usually slightly larger.
- Between sizes? Choose the larger one.
- Measure twice. Three times is better.

Necklace Size Guide
Measure around your neck where you would like the necklace to sit. Loretana necklaces come in one length, and most have a 5 cm extender chain, so you can fasten the clasp where it suits you:
- 40 cm + 5 cm extender: sits close, near the base of the neck (Clover shell pearl necklace).
- 45 cm + 5 cm extender: our most common length (Engraved Coin, Engraved Square, Photo Heart, Crown pendant, Flat Snake chain).
- 50 cm, or 50 cm + 5 cm extender: sits a little lower (Paperclip chain, heart and halo pendants).

Bracelet Size Guide
- Measure snugly around your wrist at the point where you would wear the bracelet.
- Add about 1 cm of ease, and fasten the clasp at that length on the extender chain.
Loretana bracelet lengths: each chain bracelet comes in one length with an extender chain.
- 15 cm + 5 cm extender: fits wrists of about 14 to 19 cm (Paperclip, Clover shell pearl, Double Layer Cross, Bead Bar).
- 16 cm + 3 cm extender: about 15 to 18 cm (Crown Initial).
- 16 cm + 5 cm extender: about 15 to 20 cm (Clover pavé).
- 18 cm + 3 cm extender: about 17 to 20 cm (Engraved Curved Bar).
- Personalized Letter Bangle: an open cuff, 60 mm across, that adjusts slightly to the wrist.
