Loretana was built around one idea: you shouldn't have to choose a single look and stay with it. With our interchangeable system, you don't just wear jewelry — you create it, switching elements to change the piece as your outfit, mood, or occasion changes.
How it works
Each interchangeable piece is made of two parts — a base and a top. The base is the permanent structure, hallmarked 925 sterling silver finished in rhodium or 14K gold. The top is the changeable element: a gemstone, a motif, a color. Snap a different top onto the same base, and the ring reads as an entirely different piece, without buying a new one.
Why one base, many tops
It's a more deliberate way to build a jewelry box. Instead of several rings worn once or twice, one well-made base becomes several looks — a quieter, longer-lasting alternative to accumulating pieces that mostly sit in a drawer. It also makes gifting easier: a base is a considered starting gift, and additional tops become simple, meaningful add-ons for birthdays or anniversaries that follow.
Styling it day to day
Keep a neutral zirconia top in rotation for everyday wear and work, and switch to a color top — emerald-green, sapphire-blue, or ruby-red — for evenings or a specific outfit. Because the base stays constant, the fit and the feel of the ring never change; only the top does.
Meaning, if you want it
Several of our interchangeable pieces are organized by intention rather than just style — tops built around themes of wealth, love, protection, and clarity. Choosing a top with a specific meaning is a way to make a gift, or a piece for yourself, feel intentional rather than decorative.
Getting started
Start with one base in the metal finish you wear most — rhodium or 14K gold — and add tops as you go. Every piece is nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and hallmarked, hand-finished in our Kaunas studio. Explore the full interchangeable collection to build your first base and top.
