Silver or gold-plated: what is the difference?
Both finishes cost €79.99, and both are 925 sterling silver underneath. The silver pendant is finished with rhodium, which keeps it bright and slows tarnish. The gold version is plated with 14K gold. Any plating wears gradually with daily wear, usually over 2–5 years, and the 925 silver underneath stays.
What makes an engraved pendant cheaper or more expensive
